What began as a dedicated educational initiative in Jeddah has grown into a multi-sector group spanning schools, construction, printing, transportation, learning resources and technology.
Headquartered in Jeddah, we work with one purpose: to improve lives by delivering quality, safety and reliability — in every classroom, and for every client.

Milestones
Built step by step.
- 1997
Jeddah International School opens in Al Khalidiyah.
- 1998
Al-Feras Educational Company is founded, and Al-Afaq International School opens.
- 2012
Ideal Union Contracting is formed within the group.
- 2024
The World Academy in King Abdullah Economic City joins, operated by JIS.
- 2026
Smart International Academy in North Obhur joins the group.
- 2026
The new JIS campus, built by Ideal Union Contracting, is complete.

Director General's message
We began with one school and one belief: every child deserves an education that opens doors. Today we are five schools — with one mission, and one goal.
That goal shapes every decision we make. It is why we invest in teachers who know every child by name, in curricula recognised around the world, and in campuses designed for the way children learn today — including our new JIS campus, built by our own construction company.
It is also why the group grew beyond the classroom. Our companies build, print, equip and transport for our schools, and bring the same standards to every client they serve.
